Our Rooms
All rooms at The Artist House include:
Private baths (some with claw-foot tubs & showers), 12-ft.-high ceilings with elaborate antique crown and trim moldings (except Sun Room), in-room refrigerators, cable TV, phones, sitting areas and air conditioning. Continental breakfast is available daily.

TURRET SUITE: Entering the Turret is like stepping back in time. A 4-poster King bed, sitting area, a private bath with antique claw-foot tub/shower and French doors that open to your own porch with wicker seating complete the lower level of the room. The fairytale staircase that ascends to the top of the turret is unique to Key West homes and includes a double bed, and chest placed around the seven tall windows of the 12 ft. high, octagon-shaped space. |

ANNE SUITE: Once the master bedroom, the spacious ( about 20'x20') Anne Suite features a 4-poster King bed, wood floors, overstuffed leather sofa, chair and ottoman. A TV is tucked into an oak wall system, and a luxurious adjoining bath (about 10'x10') with antique claw-foot tub/shower, vanity, full-length mirror and brass and crystal chandelier, complete this special room. |

THE STUDIO: The former painters studio (Gene Otto; Artist House is named in his honor, see "History"), this elegant and huge room (about 20'x20') has a romantic carved wood 4-poster King bed, polished wood floors, spacious entertaining area with classic sectional sofa, the original painters desk and many other antiques. A large private bath with tub/shower also await the guest. |

THE PARLOR: Victorian elegance and charm abound. The original "parlor" to the house, this spacious room (about 350 sq. ft.) would make anyone's grandmother feel at home. A 4-poster "pillow top" King bed, antique armoire and chest, Chippendale sofa and chairs with polished wood floors. A private shower bath in shades of pink and white, with dressing table, complete the room. |

THE MORNING ROOM: Greet the day in this large (about 15'x15') bright room, with a wicker Queen bed, and matching pieces which include two comfy rocking chairs that sit next to the fireplace. Polished wood floors and a built-in armoire add to the nostalgia of the room. The private veranda with table and chairs overlooks the rear garden and adjoins the private bath with antique claw-foot tub/shower. |

THE GARDEN ROOM: Once the library of the home, this large room (about 15'x15') is still loaded with charm and elegance. The 4-poster Queen bed is opposite the fireplace and the matching wing chairs, all on polished wood floors. A private shower bath with dressing table adjoins the cozy private balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the garden. |

THE SUN ROOM: Once the children's nursery, and now a cozy retreat complete with a wicker Queen bed, overstuffed easy chair, a microwave oven, refrigerator and a private shower bath. Full of light and overlooking our garden and the rooftops of Old Town, the private entrance and stairs allow you to adopt a more clandestine approach in your island get-away. |
